That smell on the floor and in the room. Like body odour… same thing last time I stayed here. Staff couldn’t be bothered when I checked in, three people discussing changing the channel on the tv while I stood there.

    No 5 is a magnificent old house, and the current owners have made it beautiful, still authentic yet tastefully stylish and incredibly comfortable. I could have stayed for much longer, helped by the onsite laundry option after days on the road. Breakfast was a lovely continental breakfast with great company, the owners are a delight and I highly recommend staying here. There are self catering options and lovely opportunities to enjoy a drink on the back verandah enjoying the view over the river.

    Gorgeous home with the most amazing owners. My sister and I had the best time staying with Vahid and Marcia. They were great company and in the week we stayed with them, it felt like we had made long time friends. We felt right at home. The bedrooms were clean and comfy. We absolutely loved the fresh croissants every morning. They smelt and tasted amazing! The house is located in a beautiful neighbourhood not far from lovely restaurants and cafes. Also near by town and some beautiful parks. Looking forward to visiting again!

    A lovely building resembling a French chateau in the heart of downtown Winnipeg. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The Oval dining room is a stunning room with excellent food.
