Boasting a spectacular alpine location in Arosa at an altitude of 5906 feet above sea level, the Tschuggen Grand Hotel Arosa represents a haven of luxury, offering you its own private cable car to the...

The hotel location was excellent for skiing - ski in/ski out. A bit removed from the center of town, but still within easy reach. The hotel was a typical Swiss Grand Hotel, with a mixture of top modern (Spa area) and 20th century Nostalgia (lobby design). The rooms seemed freshly renovated and where very spacious with excellent view (South side), a pillow menu, turn down service, a spacious bath(room) etc. Top notch! The breakfast area was good, with ample choices and on demand egg order service.

Nice welcome from our host. We enjoyed very much staying at the property. Lovely walnut pie and great breakfast in the morning with local products. We also enjoyed the recommendation for dinner at the local restaurant with excellent cuisine.

Everything was self service but really well-organised. At first I found it strange, for example the self check-in was done through a machine and breakfast self service in a dedicated area where the continental breakfast was available (great coffee machine, fresh yoghurts, milk, juices, lovely fresh brad and croissants. It really worked well, although I was a bit skeptical at first! Beds were really comfortable and the room spacious. The gorgeous mountain views from our windows were unexpected!
