Perfect hotel to "get away from it all". Secluded with amazing views and various things to keep you occupied (if you need). The staff were very friendly and helpful right from the moment we entered the Funicular base station. Return fare and breakfast were included in the booking.
Dinner at the restaurant was delicious and the breakfast offered plenty to choose from.
Train station or bus stop is a short walk from the Funicular.

We had an amazing stay at Nira Alpina! Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade. The hotel’s SPA is excellent, everything was spotlessly clean, and the overall atmosphere was very welcoming.
The reception staff was incredibly friendly, polite, and helpful, making us feel truly valued as guests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this hotel to everyone.
One of the biggest advantages of Nira Alpina is its perfect ski-in/ski-out location. The hotel has direct access to the cable car, allowing guests to head straight to the slopes. There are also beginner-friendly slopes nearby, making it a great choice for all skill levels. Additionally, guests can purchase a ski pass at a discounted rate through the hotel, which is a great bonus! Another great convenience is the ski equipment shop located right next to the hotel, with direct access from the building, making it easy to rent or buy any necessary gear.
Both the bakery and the restaurant at the hotel were outstanding, offering delicious food and great service.
We didn’t book a transfer from St. Moritz train station as we weren’t aware that the hotel provided this service. However, on our departure, they kindly offered and arranged a complimentary transfer for us. Additionally, we were granted a complimentary late check-out, which made our departure even more comfortable.
Our stay at Nira Alpina was exceptional, and we would love to return in the future!

Sweet smell of wax when entering the place, sauna, restaurant with excellent pizza nearby, floor heating, and little chocolate.
Breakfast very good. Excellent location right next to the train station
These hotels offer something a little different in the way of design and usually sit in a trendy, urban part of town. More intimate than your average hotel, they offer high standards with a homely vibe.
convenient location for public transport, lovely views, quiet, attractive historical hotel. Clean and spacious room. Beautiful breakfast room in old ball room, light and airy.
Close to station, great place , very clean , Tamara is a lovely host, very accommodating , she went out of her way to source vegan products for my breakfast. Grateful for all the helpful advice , definitely coming back to same place
Gorgeous old hotel , takes you back in time . Great location in Samedan just a few minutes away from St. Moritz
We took a three bedroomed apartment , and it was well equipped and very spacious
Great breakfast in a lovely breakfast room
We were scheduled to leave early and explained we would not be there for breakfast. The lady checking us I immediately offered to have a “to go” breakfast waiting for us on the front desk when we left in the am! And there it was —just before 7 am! So thoughtful. We also enjoyed a lovely dinner in the main dining room. It is a gorgeous venue and our waitress and the manager, Elsa, were delightful! The food was excellent, as was the service.
Everything was faboulous, hotel is well renovated and designed, the views are magical! Also the drive with funicular is a special experience and is included in the price of the stay.
Excellent location, superb value for money. Lovely whirlpool bath. Great views from hotel, especially breakfast room. Breakfast itself was excellent, made even more pleasurable by character and view from the breakfast room. Stunning!
It was a beautiful room. It was spacious and it had an amazing upper level sleeping space for my daughter. The beds were really comfortable. The bathroom was big and the room was clean and beautifully furnished. Loved our night in this gorgeous room. The staff were super friendly and the breakfast was lovely.
