We had a suite which was amazing, large bright windows with amazing view. We had dinner and breakfast. Dinner was exceptional, great chef with quality ingredients well executed. Breakfast was also lovely. Nice granola, fresh fruit, fresh home made bread and delicious home made marmalade. Freshly baked cakes. The property is something to behold; a blend of timber and the owner's (Victoria) own creative artistic touches and flourishes, from decorative details to general design. Great meals on a 7 day rotating menu and an wonderful owner/chef team only too willing to go the extra mile to bring drinks to your room! We had a private room - the whole hostel is spotless and very secure, has a great atmosphere (but not loud at night), the host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, with lovely communal spaces that are free to use and a gorgeous cat!
