Air conditioning was great, large private bathroom, laundry room, free parking available, daily sightings of resident sloth and iguanas on property. 2nd floor guests were nice and we all shared a modern kitchen, which allowed us to chat periodically. Beside the breakfast area there were always lots of hummingbirds in the bushes. Saw toucans daily in a tree by the breakfast area. Such lovely people. Highly recommend. The ethos of supporting nature and the local environment was evident in all of their activities and the design of the lodges. We had a spectacular view of the lake from our balcony. The staff are lovely and nothing was too much for them The morning bird table was always a delight to watch and the organised nature hikes led by Christian were definitely worth doing. The room was really lovely with 2 comfortable double beds and an amazing view of Arenal volcano. We had a lovely porch with 2 rocking chairs where we could sit and relax in the midst of the volcano.
