Perfect stay for visiting Alsace Christmas Markets! We wanted to visit Strasbourg and the others and this was a great place to do this. Drive your car 2km and leave it next to the tram station that gets you directly to Strasbourg !
The accommodation is beautiful, everything is new and of good quality!
Host is kind and took her time to tell us everything was needed for a great stay.
Situated on the outskirts of Kehl, close to the Rhine and just a 10-minute drive from Strasbourg, boutique hotel offers individual, themed rooms with free wifi.

Excellent boutique hotel with quirky rooms and a great restaurant. Our room was decorated with cutlery, including a giant knife, fork and spoon. We ate extremely well (with normal cutlery!)
This hotel is ideally located in the town of Lahr, between the Rhine river and the Black Forest. Here in Lahr the hotel has had a hospitable tradition for almost two centuries.

We went during christmas time visiting the christmas market around. Hotel had a decent price during that time. Easily accessible and a good breakfast. Parking infront of the hotel is very limited we arrived late in the evening and it was full. But it was very easy to find places in the streets around the hotel.
These hotels offer something a little different in the way of design and usually sit in a trendy, urban part of town. More intimate than your average hotel, they offer high standards with a homely vibe.
The Gasthaus Hohberg is a gem. The setting beside a brook is lovely and there is great walking directly from the gasthaus. The beds were comfortable, the food in the restaurant excellent and the breakfast delicious. Recommended all round.
Great property in a lovely village.
Well equipped with everything you might need for a short stay or a longer holiday.
Our host Frank was very welcoming and helpful both before we arrived and whilst there.
the room was lovely, very clean, modern and comfortable. great pillow menu option that allowed me to have a firmer pillow. also a very cute sleepytime music option which was fun. the communal areas like the bar and lounge were beautifully decorated. the spa was lovely too, great selection of experience’s( just wish they were t spread across the hotel in different locations). the breakfast was top notch, really impressive spread. parking was great too.
Peaceful location with lovely views of the small valley. Perfect location for walkers with good possibilities direct from hotel. Good food and wine available in the lovely restaurant and an excellent breakfast
Comfortable room, lovely breakfast. Great location, very pretty area. Good secure parking. We ate at wine bar across road (affiliated to hotel I think) and food was great. We also used pool, clean and not busy.
