The guy at the reception spoke no English and also his German was very difficult to understand... The first bad experience was when he called me three days before my trip (two weeks after booking confirmation) to tell me that my room was not available, because others had booked before me. I had to call booking.com customer service to clarify that overbooking is no no. They sorted it out. Then, during my stay, the same guy tried to charge my card multiple times, without telling me or asking any authorization. These were all rejected by my bank, as it should, but the alarms and the enquiries made me waste multiple hours of what should have been a business trip with a different focus... Not happy, the same guy came over excited to my room, knocking loudly at my door after 11pm to complain that he could not charge my card... How can one do this job without knowing the basic of how visa cards work? ... ah I even had to buy the soap myself....

We have stayed here before and it is a fab location and a great hotel. However this time I booked the d,b&b option and was very disappointed by the offered set menu as the Thai curry was basically a very runny green Thai carrot soup with a slice of courgette thrown in so I shall not be making that mistake again. The Hotel Drei Raben is a great little Boutique hotel in the historic centre of Nürnberg. The Staff was very helpful, the room and the beds were great (we got a free upgrade). The Breakfast was fantastic. Unfortunately, we had no time for the "Aperitivo" where a Piano player was playing in the Lobby. The idea that every room has its own Nürnberg related theme is a great one. Overall, we can only recommend this Hotel.

The apartment exceeded our expectations in size, featuring nice furnishings and a well-thought-out selection of complimentary amenities. Its location is conveniently close to the city center, with excellent access to public transport and ride-hailing services like Bolt or taxis. The complimentary breakfast was enjoyable, offering a good variety of food choices. While it wasn't a luxury 4-star+ hotel breakfast, it met our expectations perfectly and was reasonably priced. Additionally, coffee, tea, and light snacks are available throughout your stay near the hotel lobby, which was a nice touch. Overall a pleasant experience.
