Rooms are clean, with a beautiful wooden floor. It is one of the few hotels in Bochum with rooms with a wooden floor instead of a carpet. There was a misunderstanding when I checked in, but it was fixed the next day. The room was beautiful, and decorated with good taste. Bathroom is very modern. The hotel is ideally located, in the center, surrounded by restaurants and bars, and within a 10 min walking distance from the railway station. Breakfast is "à la carte", and is good. I appreciated the staff and the waitress who served me at breakfast.

Virtually all the staff were fabulous, really helpful and charming, a real credit to their profession. We had food and drink on three occasions. . However, the evening meals are much better value than the breakfast (see below) and I can personally recommend the smoked salmon, rostis and salad. All in all, I would stay there again
