I was pleasantly surprised about the organic food for breakfast. The breakfast was excellent. I loved the relaxing aquarium video in the room.
The room could be bigger.

I had room 121. I think there needs to be something soft between the shower and sink. If one is to slip slightly and open the door of shower with some force the glass will surely shatter and creat more problems.
Apart from that, everything else in the room was exceptional.
These hotels offer something a little different in the way of design and usually sit in a trendy, urban part of town. More intimate than your average hotel, they offer high standards with a homely vibe.
Lovely manager very friendly and wonderful room even though it was small it was perfect. Apple on the bedside with sparkling water too! Wonderful breakfast buffet with hot and cold options at a much better rate than the restaurants and cafes. Snack boxes on the hallways was a great idea - all priced at €1:20 to be put in the honesty box. Lots of healthy and sugary snacks available! The Free ice cream voucher for the cafe next door was a very nice gesture !
Very central location with friendly staff, but no parking. Very clean spacious room and we even found a chocolate St. Nicholas outside our room in the morning of St. Nicholas Day, which was a lovely gesture!
I've given slightly above average scores as the place looked lovely from the outside. I arrived at 9pm, after an 11hr drive from the UK to find that the reception closes for check-in at 4pm on a Sunday. I re-read booking.com order confirmation and right at the bottom it does note this. It should be at the top for a 1 night Sunday booking. I slept in the van in the car park for £110. Not the hotel's fault! I normally have to check in after 3, this caught me out. Be aware!!
In an idyllic location a short ride away from the lovely old town of Idstein, this family-run place combines historical charm with the indispensable modern comfort. Our family room (5 people) was very spacious and quiet. The kitchen was almost closing at check-in time but the lady at the reception arranged a last-minute dinner for our kids, so the grown-ups could relax and then sip some homemade apple wine in the courtyard. Wish we could have stayed longer.
