Exceptionally well taken care of rooms, facility, garden, pool, and sauna. The staff made us feel great and the breakfast was rich, good, and fresh. I wish we could have stayed longer but for sure we will come back.
This hotel is set beside the River Ilmenau, a 5-minute walk from Lüneburg Train Station. It offers free Wi-Fi, a free fitness centre with pool, and 3 restaurants with riverside terraces.
Elbhof Harnisch, a property with a garden, is set in Bleckede, 25 km from Old Water Tower Lueneburg, 26 km from Theatre Lueneburg, as well as 26 km from Monastery Luene & Textile Museum.
These hotels offer something a little different in the way of design and usually sit in a trendy, urban part of town. More intimate than your average hotel, they offer high standards with a homely vibe.
Better than expected. Room, bathroom and balcony are big and the furniture and design is updated from the original before 90s style. Excellent breakfast. 15 min walking to the old town and literally at the entrance of a very nice park. Very good service.
It is a beautiful historical building which oozed charm. The staff were amazing offering fantastic customer service. The hotel is located in very close walking distance to the town centre and all the attractions, but is in a quiet peaceful location next to a lovely park. We had a gorgeous room with a huge modern bathroom. We will definitely go again.
Stayed here for a second time. The design of the hotel is very beautiful and the staff super friendly and competent.
The location is excellent especially if you want to see a bit of Lüneburg.
A really nice boutique hotel near the centre of beautiful Luneburg. The room was simply furnished, but spacious with a very comfortable bed and excellent bathroom. Like most hotels in Germany, there was no air conditioning so it was quite warm even if the outside temperaturewas only in the low 20s.. A fan helped but it would be unbearable in really hot weather. Breakfast was great and parking was secure and easy (if not exactly next door).
The house is the star here. One of the oldest (patrician) townhouses in the old town of Lüneburg, it was renovated three years ago and now reopened as a sort of boutique hotel. Nicely decorated rooms in which you can feel at home immediately.
