Situated on the outskirts of Herzogenaurach in the heart of Franconia, this 4-star-superior hotel offers modern accommodation, a spacious spa area and excellent links with the A3 motorway.

We have stayed here before and it is a fab location and a great hotel. However this time I booked the d,b&b option and was very disappointed by the offered set menu as the Thai curry was basically a very runny green Thai carrot soup with a slice of courgette thrown in so I shall not be making that mistake again. However the breakfast was superb and the facilities and staff are tip top

    I mostly liked the clean and very practical designed room. Also I enjoyed the very diverse breakfast a lot. Walking to the city centre was not a problem at all. There is also a swimming pool and a park next to the hotel. Walking takes around 15 mins to the next train station.

    The food at the restaurant was delicious! For dinner, we had the veal schnitzel with potato and cucumber salad, and we really enjoyed the freshly cooked eggs for breakfast, as well as the other breakfast foods at the buffet. The buildings are lovely and look historical. Our room was huge and extremely clean, which is the most important part for me. The bed was comfortable. The staff were kind and helpful. The hotel is well located, with only a 5 minute walk into the town center.
