I booked this hotel mainly to enjoy the wellness area, but it turned out to be a disappointing experience. The wellness facilities definitely need an upgrade. The room need an upgrade too and the bed was really not comfortable. Additionally, the economy rooms are located in a separate building quite far from the main complex, which can be inconvenient, especially when traveling alone and during periods of low occupancy.
The reception staff was unprofessional; they failed to mention that parking was not free, which I only discovered at checkout. They also seemed inattentive to my requests. However, I would like to highlight the restaurant staff, who were friendly and very helpful.
Overall, the value for the price is poor, and I would not recommend this hotel.

Beautiful old property. Great location for exploring Idstein. Staff was exceptional and very kind. Rooms are quaint and interesting...Their restaurant was amazing. Wonderful, elegant dinner. It was perfect for celebrating a Birthday.
