Once in the enormous doors the place opened up to a beautiful welcoming room with plants and high ceiling where the upper floors could be viewed. In the back was a comfortable sitting area great for gathering with friends and having a cocktails or tea. They even had small sandwiches on hand. We ate at the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Both delicious. As it was election on Sunday our street life was very quiet but we were told it has wonderful restaurants and bars. The location is very close to all the sites in this beautiful colonial city. I would stay there again!!

Incredible service from the front desk. Hugely appreciated the map to help us self navigate the historic center. Helped us with transport, even urgently when we were short on time due to some closed streets for International Women's Day. Great breakfast. And the design and views were impeccable.

Beautiful well kept hotel. Close to everything. No night life nearby- need a taxi to get to the many wonderful restaurants in Quito. Very good breakfast, safe comfortable and secure hotel. Excellent staff- always helpful for every need.
