These hotels offer something a little different in the way of design and usually sit in a trendy, urban part of town. More intimate than your average hotel, they offer high standards with a homely vibe.
The lovely quiet and relaxed atmosphere. The way that the original convent buildings have been redesigned sympathetically to retain many original features. The capacious rooms. The efficient and polite staff.
A nice welcome from reception staff and a comfortable room and bathroom. There was a nice ambience in the hotel and the restaurant staff were very friendly. There was a lovely bar area to sit out in the warm weather but also space inside. The half board option was excellent value. On-site free parking. Hotel is slightly out of town and easy to get to.
We had a lovely, peaceful stay. Room spacious and comfortable
, with all the facilities we needed, inc. a bath! The evening meal was delist, and the breakfast perfect for getting us underway for a long journey through Portugal. The site of Imperial Eagles just across the Border was a bonus.
The property is beautifully presented with everything that you need. There was a welcome package with bread, chorizo, fruit, coffee and tea. The kitchen was well-equipped and the garden was beautiful. The swimming pool was a lovely space to relax. The property is a perfect retreat from the city.
lovely building, converted from old convent. friendly and helpful staff, nice pool, great restaurant for lunch and dinner. room was very spacious and comfortable
We have stayed in this hotel before and were happy to return. We had large comfortable room in a very interesting building with a lovely internal courtyard. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The buffet breakfast was excellent. The restaurant served good quality food at a reasonable price.
Beautifully restored building in lovely area. Large well equipped room, friendly and professional staff, good food. Easy access.
