CanadaAlcantarra is breathtaking to drive up to when you come towards the Roman bridge. This hotel is a lovely complement to that. Staff are all friendly and rooms are nice, spacious and clean. The building has some lovely history also, but I would say the location is its strongest point.

There was a nice ambience in the hotel and the restaurant staff were very friendly. There was a lovely bar area to sit out in the warm weather but also space inside. The evening meal was delist, and the breakfast perfect for getting us underway for a long journey through Portugal.
