Located in a stunning natural setting on the banks of the Ara River, the Hotel & Spa Monasterio de Boltaña is a charming 16th-Century building boasting a well-equipped spa.

The stony building is amazing. Rooms and food are appropriate. Service is average and mostly kind.
The comfortable and cosy hotel is located in the small medieval town of Ainsa, situated in the Huescan Pyrenees surrounded by natural beauty.

I loved everything about it. The room was beautiful, spacious, and clean. The bathroom was big. It was perfectly located in the old town plaza. There were restaurants all around the place. The receptionist was very welcoming and friendly. I would love to go back there again.

The property is situated in the centre of the old town (see picture) and hence it was a two minute walk to a variety of cafes, restaurants and shops. We visited in October, out of season, but was still able to eat with no problem. Our room was on the other side to the town square and so we had a fantastic view over the mountains (see picture). The room was large, traditionally decorated, the bathroom equipped with all modern facilities. There is no restaurant on site, breakfast is served in the ground floor "cafe". The staff were charming and our lack of Spanish was no problem.
Set 43 km from Torreciudad and 41 km from Dag Shang Kagyu, Apartamentos El Palacete de Ainsa in Aínsa offers air-conditioned accommodation with views of the lake and free WiFi.
These hotels offer something a little different in the way of design and usually sit in a trendy, urban part of town. More intimate than your average hotel, they offer high standards with a homely vibe.
A lovely hotel in a beautiful location. The junior suite was great value for money and the interior of the hotel and its decor is exceptional.
Cold drinks as well as cava is offered free as you arrive and the staff are friendly.
The swimming pool and relaxation area is beautifully kept and a fabulous place to relax with a lovely view. Everywhere was spotlessly clean.
The breakfast is great.
Overall there is a calm, relaxed atmosphere.
A stunning and tastefully decorated hotel in a good location for exploring the Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park, and the historic towns of Ainsa and Boltana.
We loved our room, which had a wide and VERY comfortable bed.
Pool area was super nice, and so was the breakfast buffet. Dinner at the restaurant was decent, and the Asador Zabrin a few minutes down the road was among the best places we ate during our three weeks in Spain.
Stunning, beautiful architecture.
Fabulous pool,
Beds and pillows were so comfy, large rooms.
Great service, excellent location. Would definitely stay again and for longer.
Views were amazing.
The hotel was absolutely beautiful. A converted monastery that has been sympathetically converted into a modern hotel with a luxury feel. The room was spacious and comfortable and the bed was a very good size. All of the public areas were clean and inviting. It was lovely to sit outside in the evening for a drink and an informal meal.
