Hotel Mas Comangau was the highlight of our stay. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant twice and our meals were outstanding. The best meals we had while in Spain were found here. We chose breakfast with our stay and it was exceptional--a lot of choices to choose from for the buffet. The room was big, clean, and comfortable. We did not have much of a view being on the first floor, but we did not stay long in our room. The hotel is within walking distance to Begur old quarter, which was nice not having to deal with parking. We used the hotel as a base to travel in the surrounding areas. We parked for free at one of a few spots at the hotel. The hotel and restaurant staff were helpful and attentive. We stayed here for 4 nights.

Perfect hotel, perfect staff, I travel a lot and it is one of the best I have ever stayed in, forget the star rating that is because of things like no lift not because of the things that matter, keys instead of cards to get into the room, an honesty bar, great products in the shower, great design, lights that are simple to use and a great restaurant.
