Interesting decor, central location, good lock up cupboard for bicycles. Minimal interaction with staff ( no-one about except at arrival), but he was very helpful; there was no breakfast or restaurant!

The hotel has been recently renovated & is clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful & the location is perfect for catching the ferry from Santander, a pretty coastal town with bars and restaurants. Breakfast was delicious, the staff made a big effort to look after us, cooking fresh tortilla especially for us.

El Jardín is set in Soto de la Marina, 5 km from Santander city centre and 2 km from Arnia Beach. It has free Wi-Fi and free on-site parking.

The cleanliness of the room was outstanding (the best I have ever experienced, anywhere) and it was also cleaned daily to the same really high standard. It had everything we needed and we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. Nothing was too much trouble and we were literally looked after as if we were in a 5* hotel. The bed was also extremely comfortable and having the mini fridge and tea making facility was a real bonus for us. It was a pleasure to come 'home' at the end of the day and be cocooned in comfort before setting off again in the morning. We would definitely like to return and explore the area further, such a beautiful part of the world. Also, being able to park outside made everything very easy and convenient, especially as my husband couldn't walk too far. Thank you for your genuine care and attention to our needs, it has been a real pleasure and a bonus to have met you.

Beautiful building, spacious and well decorated room. The host recommend an excellent restaurant. 1 minute walk to main square. We found free on street parking a couple of minutes walk up the hill (note we were out of season). We would stay again.
