AustraliaThe location of Chambres d’hôtes La Tour Sainte-Cécile is fantastic, and the building is unique and offers a special experience. The hosts were lovely, the rooms beautifully appointed, and the breakfast was delightful! There is a small elevator to access the apartment, however be prepared that you will still need to be able to navigate a small number of steps to get into the property, and if you have a tower room (worth it!) there are many steps in a narrow spiral staircase to get to the room - leave the large suitcase behind!!

FranceReception excellent. The proprietor was very helpful with restaurant suggestions etc. The breakfast was very good, fresh squeezed orange juice local ham etc etc. Good coffee. Our room was quite small but with a good sized bed, very pleasant private terrace, lots of power outlets and very modern bathroom. It was perfect for our short stay.

The welcome pack with all information about the apartment and surroundings was excellent and there were some lovely treats and letter waiting for me when I arrived. Decorated with lovely antiques and tasteful period features. The electric blinds made a complete black out, which we like at night. Check in and out was simplicity itself and the host was flexible about leaving the car for a little longer while we explored Albi in the morning.
