We arrived with wheelchair and were upgraded to a room on 1st floor with wet room shower and lift right opposite our door. Everyone was very kind. Breakfast was delicious - self service - but everything really fresh - freshly squeezed orange juice, soaked fruits and fresh yoghurts.. - croissants, boiled eggs ......

The breakfast was very nice, hot crossaints, jam, bread and yogurt. But the only problem was that all the guests arrived at the dinning hall at the same time and there wasn´t enough chairs or space for everyone to sit down.

I booked a three-bedroom villa with a private pool at Chateau les Carrasses through Booking.com as a treat for my family. I wanted them to have a restful stay together. It had been a while since we had seen each other, and I hoped to provide a comfortable space to relax and explore the Chateau and its surroundings.
Finding the Chateau by car was easy, and Google Maps helped us get there without hassle. I arrived first with my sister in her car, and my niece and nephew were able to locate the Chateau quickly in their cars as well.
The villa itself was exceptional. Although the villa's design was sleek and modern, it harmonized beautifully with its historical Chateau setting. The villa was immaculate, well-presented, and clean, particularly the bathrooms and kitchen. The kitchen was fully equipped and included everything needed for cleaning, as well as good laundry facilities (a washing machine, airer, ironing board, and iron).
Each bedroom featured clean bedding, and there was a sofa bed, allowing everyone to have their own sleeping area. Even though the temperature outside was slightly cold (early March), the villa remained warm and inviting.
While exploring the surrounding grounds of the Chateau, we discovered fantastic gardens. We spoke to the gardener, who tended to a substantial area dedicated to homegrown vegetables. There were also goats, chickens, and ducks. There is also a small play area for children.
The staff were professional and kind, particularly Sophie, who handled a couple of our requests with immense patience and politeness.
We plan to return to the Chateau, especially during the summer, to make the most of the pool and explore the other activities and amenities available.
Even though our stay at the Chateau was short, our stay at the villa was comfortable, memorable, and the whole family enjoyed it.
A good location for a relaxing holiday in Fraissé-des-Corbières, Au Paradis Cathare is a bed and breakfast surrounded by views of the garden.

WOW and WOW... This place is so good we want to keep it a secret! It is run by Alexandre and his lovely partner who is an amazing cook too. The house is beautifully renovated, clean, airy, full of light and extremely comfortable. The bedrooms have their own bathroom which was very spacious and a TV as well as a place to write and sit and read a book whilst gazing out of the window onto the amazing countryside. The village is very small. It has no amenities but then it is charming as it is not busy. It is just a rural village in a vineyard area. Easy to park. Also, opposite the house was a very private garden with a small pool and sun loungers as well as an incredibly beautiful chill out area. We had breakfast (fresh crepes, fresh fruit, yoghurt with apple compot and toast and home made jam) there each day with other French people (so we got to practice our French) and we requested dinner there too. It was 25 euros for dinner with an additional 16 euros for the amazing wine on offer. The first night we had mushroom soup and salad and then wild boar with dauphane potatoes. For dessert there was homemade chocolate mousse and fresh cream. And the following night we had fresh Dorada fish done in the pan with gazpacho and salad and for dessert homemade Tiramisu. We were made welcome and will definitely return to stay there longer.
These hotels offer something a little different in the way of design and usually sit in a trendy, urban part of town. More intimate than your average hotel, they offer high standards with a homely vibe.
The room is extremely stylish with attention to small details. It was very clean too. The view is as breathtaking as advertised. There is everything in the room you could need: a Nespresso machine with capsules, a bottle of water, tea bags with a tea kettle, a fridge, a small table with 2 chairs, lots of sockets, a terasse. Bonus: l'occitane cosmetic was a pleasant surprise!
The owner is very friendly, we felt welcomed and had overall positive experience.
The room was beautiful including the view. Very large comfortable bed. Nice toiletries available to use. Hot tub was great. Corrine was very lovely!
The local area is beautiful
Highest quality furnishings of our entire trip! Lovely reception from the owner Corinne, and serving of breakfast on the balcony with its great view the next morning. Got a good dinner at the restaurant on the village square up the street.
Beautiful place and Florence was a great host. Large comfortable room and bed. Large shower room and facilities.
The pool area was gorgeous. It was nice to sit and have breakfast by the pool and breakfast was really good.
Would definately stay again.
