The hotel advertises offering pool and air-conditioned rooms. Two factors why I chose the hotel. However, the pool was not open for clients and a/c was not available. The front desk informed that administration makes decision when to open pool for business and a/c in the rooms is turned on only when administration decides to do so. Then why to advertise that pool and a/c services?

Located in Bayonne, Temporesidence Cathedrale is just 2.5 km from the train station and 6 km from Biarritz. It offers spacious apartments and studios with a fully equipped kitchenette.

The location is superb right in front of the old market hall with everything in it ! Great beds and very helpful and friendly staff.

Hôtel Le Café de Paris is in central Biarritz, on the pedestrian Place Bellevue and a 5-minute walk from the Halls. All the rooms have panoramic views of the sea.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for four nights. I had visited two years ago and decided to return, which, unfortunately, turned out not to be the best idea. Upon our arrival, we were informed that the pool was closed (two years ago, I visited in April and it was open), which I can understand if they have since changed the opening season. However, the gym was completely neglected—very untidy, with some of the equipment broken. When we went back the next day, everything remained exactly the same, clearly indicating that no one had cleaned or tidied up in the meantime. On the day we arrived, there was a breakfast tray on the floor outside the room across from ours, and it remained there for two full days without being removed. The breakfast itself was unremarkable, with the quality of the food being quite poor. To make matters worse, the cutlery and cups were often dirty when we sat down at the table. The floor in our room was not cleaned once during our stay. One morning, we left the TV remote on the bed, and they made the bed with the remote still inside—an obvious sign of carelessness or a complete lack of attention from whoever was responsible for our room. Overall, I would say the experience was quite negative. The hotel clearly feels neglected, and in my opinion, it does not live up to the standards of a four-star establishment—especially considering the high prices and the fact that parking is an additional €20 per night. The level of service and attention to detail was practically nonexistent. We will not be returning.
