Stayed here a few times. Always a pleasure. The gentleman on the desk wasn’t as happy as the other staff we usually encounter but it was no issue. We did however get talking to a gentleman in the town who knew me by name. Turns out he was the usual receptionist. We hadn’t been at this hotel for almost a year prior to the stay and he recognised us. Was very impressed. Lovely staff there. Parking outside and a car park two minutes walk away. Right in the town. Would recommend

As a relatively cheap overnight 'motel' type stay, it was good. There was enough space, a compact cooker, sink and small fridge. The bed was comfortable and there was a desk and chair.
Parking was easy.
We were self catering, but the restaurant looked inviting and did evening meals and breakfast.
The desk staff were very friendly.

The restaurant was good and the staff helpful. The heating in the room didn’t work properly and it was cold.

I booked a wheelchair accessible room for my daughter but the hotel had not recorded this. They had a room available but it took quite a while for them to make the switch, and they charged us 20 euros extra. Everything else was excellent and breakfast was exceptionally good.
Offering a garden and garden view, Le Manoir d'à Côté is set in Courseulles-sur-Mer, 200 metres from Central Beach - Juno Beach and 1 km from Port de Plaisance.
These hotels offer something a little different in the way of design and usually sit in a trendy, urban part of town. More intimate than your average hotel, they offer high standards with a homely vibe.
Super stay. It is a little bit different. Stylish and great value. The room was comfortable. Perfect for a single night stay having travelled over to Caen on the late night ferry. Warm welcome, great shower and lovely breakfast.
Good size for family if 4 . Good kitchen and lounge area . Nice layout and design , could use a little freshen up .
Good location to explore the region, we travelled to D-Day beaches , Bayeux , all easily reached . Caen interesting to explore with plenty of restaurant options a short walk from the house also .
Very easy to access at the end of the canal from the ferry port as we arrived by bicycles. Rooms are spacious, quiet and well designed with plenty of room for luggage. Good size desk. Easy walk into town with plenty of restaurants and bars within a five minute walk. Generous sized bathroom with shower over bath. Breakfast varied and very good. Staff friendly at all times.
Very clean and comfortable, perfect for a one night stay on our trip before getting the ferry back to Ireland. We had a room with a gorgeous view over Caen. Very modern design and friendly staff. I requested an extra blanket and received it directly to the room within a few minutes. Excellent service.
Loved the bathroom, and spacious room with a lovely welcome. I wish I had the opportunity to dine in the restaurant, but perhaps in the future, they'll have a vegan menu, but this is a fantastic stay in the surprisingly vibrant city of Caen. The room interior design seemed a little under 5-star standards but everything was clean and neat.
Wonderful and exceptional
