Good Mercure quality overall. Booking made via Booking.com: first night got a room for reduced mobility persons being told hotel was full; obviously not true looking at activity level that night & following morning. Second & third nights was given the most remote room there also close to laundry & staff rooms so busy early mornings. Obviously Booking customers not really wanted ! Lastly & maybe worse, got email last morning for fast checkout including invoice showing breakfast cost which I did not take. When confronted front desk staff, answer was ‘ yes we always do charge breakfast last stay day & customers stop by to get it corrected if they actually did not take breakfast ‘ he further added ‘ you may have not seen it on the invoice but as it is in small prints’ … really ? Standard at Mercure ? …
