This hotel was originally built in the early 20th century, But a remodel has the inside looking like a minor version of the Grand Hotel Budapest in the movie--but the subdued version shown at the beginning and end of the movie. Lobby and corridors are clean but drab: dull oranges and browns. Rooms are simple but at least some have a kitchenette. A postcard in the lobby shows the lobby before the remodel. I would rather have stayed in that version of this hotel.
Ideally located in Luxeuil-les-Bains, you will be near to the casino, the theater, the cinema and the baths, and a few minutes' walk from the city center and the train station.
