Located in the picturesque village Espelette, hotel Chilhar overlooks the Basque mountains. Just 11 mi from Biarritz, it offers a large garden with panoramic views.

Breakfast was great, and the bed was really comfortable. It would have been nice to have a real chair to work at the desk rather than the stool. Otherwise, I really liked the room. I'm so glad I chose to stay in Espelette during my stay in the French Basque region. The larger places (Saint-Jean-de-Luz and Biarritz) really weren't my style, and several of the other small towns I visited (Sare and La Bastide Clairence) were great, but both had fairs/festivals during my stay, which made them extremely crowded. Espelette was perfect!

Set 1312 feet from the sea front and the beach La Grande Plage in Biarritz, Au Bon Coin offers a bar, elevator, terrace and free WiFi throughout.

The breakfast bar was incredible! All local specialities. Jacques, the owner, was so kind and welcomed my husband's Guide Dog for the Blind, Linda, with open arms. Such a wonderful place away from the tourists.

Located at the heart of Biarritz, this hotel is just 984 feet from the beaches. It features a 24-hour reception, a terrace in the private garden and air-conditioned rooms.

A charming hotel located in the heart of Biarritz. The team at the reception was incredibly friendly and helpful, guiding us through some frustrating moments when we struggled to find the entrance. Due to roadwork that wasn't reflected on Google Maps, many routes were rerouted, but the staff's assistance made all the difference.

The location is great, with free parking and right in the middle of a lovely village. The room was spacious and it had a very nice balcony that we really enjoyed. Both the bathroom and the room were spacious, clean and had all the amenities. It was quiet at night. I really enjoyed the stay!

This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful location. The car parking was very easy and free. We were given a warm welcome and shown our spotlessly clean room with a wonderful view. Tea & coffee making facilities in the room and a fridge full of water. We had a delicious steak in the outside dining area and had a continental breakfast delivered to our room which was well presented and extremely tasty!
