Everything
Thomas met us and was extremely kind and helpful
Communication was great
The apartment is beautifully designed and very comfortable, everything necessary provided
Claudine is a great host. She sent photos of the parking space, how to get the key and access the apartment via the lift and short flight of stairs. During the afternoon she sent a message to let us know the coffee machine wasn't working so that we could plan accordingly. This is a real home from home where you could definitely stay for several days. Well located near the river close to the town, shops and restaurants. It is a residential block so nice and quiet with designated off road parking.
Auberges des Remparts is quite a unique hotel, not your average chain stay. It's interior design is is one a kind, eg. the lobby has the feel of a past era, not defined by one specific but a mix of several early and mid-20th century ones. My room on the other hand was clearly a retro room in the style of the late 60s and early 70s.
I appreciate the helpfulness and kindness of what I believe to be the owner. He was making sure the guests got answers to their questions, I certainly had a few.
The room was very nice. The food in the restaurant was extremely good with classy menus - however affordable - perfect relation price/quality. There was enough parking in front and next to the hotel.
Fun design, comfortable room, good quality breakfast
