Boasting pool with a view and views of lake, Chateau De La Goujonnerie is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Loge-Fougereuse, 43 km from Puy du Fou Theme Park.

On arrival Stephan was very friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home , encouraging us to use all the facilities and giving us information on places to visit on our travels . We loved the grounds and meeting Isabella in the morning who provided us with a wonderful breakfast and was so lovely . The chateaux is filled with the most amazing antiques and modern artefacts . It's a must to see. Would highly recommend a stay at this very special chateaux.

Logis Le Rabelais sits in a quiet park with a seasonal outdoor heated pool, terrace and flowered garden. There is also a sauna, fitness room and massage treatments upon request.

Had dinner which was as expected. Didn’t take breakfast. Like the use of the terrace room, easy to exit to the garden area which is always very well kept and good to stroll in. Staff very helpful and friendly.

The property was beautiful. The owner was so unbelievably kind and helpful. The room was stunning and the pool was great. It was a fantastic stay, short and sweet, but absolutely amazing.

Stunning home set in beautiful gardens. Stefan was so welcoming, and Isabella was really helpful. The climb up the narrow winding, 40+ steps might not be good for everyone (not all the rooms are on the top floor), but our suite was so worth it. Our huge, comfortable bed was in a beautifully clean, spacious room filled with lovely eclectic furnishings. Breakfast was a relaxing leisurely affair with plenty to choose from. We would be delighted to stay at the chateau in the future.

This was our second visit which was just as wonderful as our first! Stefan is always so welcoming and greets you like long lost friends. The Chateau is beautifully and eclectically decorated. Kept in pristine condition with all the fabulous collectables and interior design.

Everything was beyond expectations: the kindness and welcomeness of the hosts (Stefan and his lovely British-styled team), the location and landscapes are breathtaking!! The equipment of all facilities is also just over the top: all is done here to make you feel comfy and special (gowns for every guest, "feel at home" atmosphere...). And I can't find words to describe the nights at the pool. We absolutely loved it !

The chateau has been beautifully restored and furnished with lots of unusual and fun antiques and design features. The breakfast was perfect too with fresh, quality ingredients and a friendly personal service - nothing too much trouble. Delightful atmosphere and setting. Fabulous pool, extensive grounds and very dog friendly.

Wow what a beautiful Chateau both inside and out! A lot of love, time, care and consideration has been spent, the interior design fun and enchanting with a feel of history. The grounds well kept with a lovely country view. The breakfast very tasty and the hosts totally accommodating.
