In the centre of Lussac-les-Chateaux, Les Orangeries is a typical country-style house with an outdoor swimming pool and free WiFi. It has been awarded the European Ecolabel.

A warm welcome on a cold windy night. The rooms and restaurant were excellent and very good value.

A beautiful, traditional building set in lovely gardens. The food in the restaurant was delicious. All of the hotel staff were extremely welcoming and helpful.

Very old world charm with lovely polite and welcoming English speaking staff. Beautiful building with lots of character and felt very relaxed. Excellent stopping point on way back from Languedoc with an easy 4 hour run up to Caen the next day. Would recommend having the dinner at their restaurant - the food was superb and a great choice of wines - fabulous. Breakfast was all local organic produce but a little expensive.

Exceed expectations overall. I would have preferred a room with a little more privacy. The upstairs of our loft was lovely but the main bed seem 'squeezed' into the downstairs and could have been more comfortable if arranged differently.

We stayed here for one night en route for the ferry home. When we arrived, we walked through lovely gardens into a charming French house: it seemed a perfect place to stop and we were delighted with it. At dinner there was only a choice of two main dishes, but both were excellent. Breakfast, though limited for 15 euros, was also delicious.

The garden and pool were lovely and peaceful. The house looked nice from the outside. Restaurant on-site, meal was ok, not great. Staff were good. Breakfast was ok
