I really liked staying in an old Abbey. The building and the grounds are beautiful. The rooms are simple and functional- have been decorated in the 90s/2000s, I would say. Everything worked well and staff were lovely. There was a problem when we arrived, but it was dealt with in a fair an professional manner. They served a delicious breakfast. We will be back.
Good location, the hotel i lovely and clean, the rooms are a good size with comfy bed, powerful shower and tea making facilities.
Breakfast - fresh ,range of choices with a smiley lady to assist
Stunning 17th century abbey with huge spaces, gardens and public areas.
Excellent beds and comfortable minimalist room stylistically a bit at odds with building but who cares?
Generally good breakfast and help with parking. Lovely reception staff who were very welcoming to our dog. We didn’t have time to visit the exhibition which promised to be wonderful.
