These hotels offer something unique in terms of design and are usually set in a trendy, urban part of town. Blending high standards with a homey vibe, boutique hotels are more intimate than your average hotel.
A beautiful modern apartment housed in a traditional building of the town. Close to the centre. Peaceful with garden. Shared garden and lovely outdoor breakfast area.
This was a perfect overnight stop for a couple of cyclists. Tim and Elvina have done a great job on the first of their gîtes. It felt brand new. Breakfast was provided and drinks and cakes on arrival (Elvina even baked a fresh loaf for the morning 😋). The pool was a lovely bonus after a day in the saddle and Tim loves his cycling. To top it all off they even drove us to the local fête that evening for food music and beers. A real treat of the French culture.
Views over the Pyrenees are spectacular. Beautiful large room, kitchen and ensuite.
We were well looked after and given good travelling advice.
Fresh air, lovely healthy breakfast
We had a very warm welcome from Jo and Nick who have created a very French ."home from home". Our breakfast was a delicious buffet set in the warm and stylish kitchen. The pool would be lovely in the summer.
The property is just basically mind blowing, incredible time travel when walking inside some of the rooms. The staircase, rooms, the outside… all beautiful.
Incredibly affordable and the hosts are totally lovely and helpful.
I had a lovely stay of 2 nights here. The hosts, Jo and Nick, are great.
The room was very very nice, too.
I was traveling by bicycle and it's just a few km's out of town of Saint-Gaudens. So for anyone not here with a car, but with a bicycle: yes, it's entirely doable to do the round-trip for restaurant visits!
Overall, I can highly recommend staying here.
Situated with a quite country atmosphere with wonderful view from the bedroom of the Pyrenees Mountains.
Very large and spacious open plan kitchen, lounge dining bedroom area.
Tim and Elvina are a British couple who have purchased the barn and are renovating - just like you see on TV!
Forest walk was lovely and viewed some wild life.
Elvina and Tim were so welcoming and such a friendly and helpful couple. We spent a really lovely evening in St Gaoudens where we had a lovely Iranian meal. The gite was really comfortable, clean and well equipped with an amazing view of the Pyrenees. We would definitely go back there for longer and would highly recommend it.
Very nice room in a lovely old style house in a small village atmosphere. Hosts were great and helped with a restaurant booking in the next small village. Breakfast was a typical continental style.
Would have been better if a selection of cereals was also available.
