Hotel Au Charme Rabelaisien is a charming 18th-century hotel nestled in the historical heart of the city of Amboise.

Not much. Need an upgrade as its look old and not well maintained. Staff were nice but not good location , parking difficult access. I didn’t like it.

Château de Nazelles Amboise is a guest house set in a 16th-century manor. Part of the Chateaux-de-la-Loire region, it features an outdoor swimming pool enclosed by original stone walls.

What’s not to like about staying in a 500 year old castle? Wonderful view from our castle window, beautiful gardens surrounding the chateau, warm and welcoming staff and close to all the major chateaux and the beautiful town of Amboise.

The estate was really quiet and nice. We were warmly welcomed and shown around by the host who spoke such great English. The rooms were spotless clean and beds were so comfortable! We also played Petanque by the front yard, and there was a foosball machine in one of the rooms. I wish I could stay more nights there. The breakfast was wonderful as well. The host put a precious rose in our bedroom because we were there for our wedding trip. The entire experience was just lovely.

Gorgeous newly renovated Chateau - a great place to stay to experience the Loire Valley Chateau’s. Yves made us feel very welcome and was on hand to help with local knowledge. We had a prefect few days at The Chateau & would thoroughly recommend a stay here and hope to return! X

Beautiful location, very quiet, modern bathroom and good size clean room. Lovely staff and the owner, good breakfast. Will stay again. The property would benefit from a swimming pool to encourage the longer stays.

Everything and I mean everything. Staff were amazing, couldn't do enough and good English so no comminication issues. Room was lovely, spacious and a very comfortable bed, shower was perfectly fine. Swimming/dipping pool, was lovely, a real relaxed feeling, the garden was immaculate. The food was the best I'd had at any hotel I've stayed at abroad, the menu needed translating but that wasn't an issue. Fish or Veal were the options, opted for the Veal and it was lovely. A good spread for breakfast too. Lovely place!
