The hosts are lovely and very helpful. The room is clean and comfortable and was cleaned during our stay. There is coffee in the room. The location is central and you can walk to everything.

Beautiful, clean, quiet!

Breakfast was great, and the bed was really comfortable. It would have been nice to have a real chair to work at the desk rather than the stool. Otherwise, I really liked the room. I'm so glad I chose to stay in Espelette during my stay in the French Basque region. The larger places (Saint-Jean-de-Luz and Biarritz) really weren't my style, and several of the other small towns I visited (Sare and La Bastide Clairence) were great, but both had fairs/festivals during my stay, which made them extremely crowded. Espelette was perfect!

The breakfast bar was incredible! All local specialities. Jacques, the owner, was so kind and welcomed my husband's Guide Dog for the Blind, Linda, with open arms. Such a wonderful place away from the tourists.

What we liked: - The front desk team was incredible and made us feel very welcome; we even got to see a few rooms for possible upgrades and got to choose the one we liked the most - The bathrooms are very nicely designed and renovated - The shower was amazing - Dyson hairdryer was a very nice touch - Parking available on the property, which is incredibly convenient - Location is amazing - right in the centre A few things to note: - We were visiting in March when it’s still cold at night and the heating system in our room didn’t work; when we brought this to the attention of the front desk, a heater was brought to our room right away - The room we were in was updated, but the wardrobe and the carpet seemed older, not a big deal
