It’s full of character with some interesting artworks and ornaments. The bed was comfortable and it was great to find the heating was on as it was a cold wet day. The breakfast was very generous and included several homemade cakes and no less than 12 different preserves to choose from. We chose to stay in this town particularly for a family function, but Tarascon seems pretty enoughand well connected by if you wanted to visit a few bits of the Ariège in one trip . Seemed well priced compared to the three other hotels in the town and rooms were fine, clean and with good recently re-done bathrooms.
