A quite wonderful ensemble of Norman Chaumieres with a unique host. Our Chaumiere was typically furnished for this region, very quiet and had a stunning view of the Seine. The huge king-size bed was of impressive quality and we slept excellently. One of the many highlights was breakfast the next morning, served by the host himself on the terrace, with a picturesque view of France's most beautiful river. Michelle the caretaker was equally kind and helpful towards us keeping an eye to ensure we were comfortable at all times even whilst he carried out his daily chores. Blissful setting next to the river with large sloping gardens full of plants and wildlife. Thatched roofs wherever you look.
