Studios At Glenthorne offers accommodations in Merthyr Tydfil, 24 miles from Cardiff University and 25 miles from University of South Wales – Cardiff Campus.

Perfect find for a weekend exploring Bannau Brycheiniog. The hosts were welcoming and advised about parking prior to arrival (easy on road parking) which wasn't a problem at all. I stayed in a downstairs room with small kitchen and bathroom which had everything I could need. Oven, hob, fridge (with milk!) Microwave and all cooking equipment. This room wouldn't suit a couple easily too. Everything was really clean, well presented. Very happy stay.

The location was perfect, just a short drive to the 4 Waterfalls, which was our main attraction :-) We took a trip to Swansea beach which was lovely and an easy drive. And the local park was just stunning with a lovely little cafe and amazing park & splash pad for the kids :-)

Lovely little cottage on a farm, even with a hot tub. With a sunny garden, the weather was gorgeous too. Very friendly owner and family close to where we wanted to visit and supermarkets not far away

Accommodation was basic, but had everything we needed for our stay, a comfortable bed and a great shower. Lovely English/ Welsh breakfast, even a delicious porridge was provided for us at the special request. The owner -Sue ( a very approachable lady) went above to make us happy. Stunning mountainous surroundings, property situated by the clean and roaring stream, lots of walking spaces and friendly people.

We stayed in the studio. It's compact, but with everything you could need including it's own patio area. Under floor heating ensures that it's warm and cosy, and the shower is good. Lovely setting with great walks for a dog and plenty of parking. I give it 5 stars for space, not because it's big, but because it's a studio, so obviously it's not big - you'regetting what it says on the tin here, but still very cosy.
