A 5-minute walk from Ambleside and a mile from Lake Windermere, the largest natural lake in England, this charming guest house was originally 2 separate Victorian cottages.

The property was very clean and nicely decorated. The patio was a nice surprise too.

Situated in Ambleside, Rooms at the Apple Pie is a recently renovated accommodation, 9.4 km from World of Beatrix Potter and 17 km from Lake Windermere.

The location, amount of tea and coffee, the bottle opener and wine glasses were a nice touch, the bathroom and the comfortable bed.

Windermere Rooms at The Wateredge Inn are located in the heart of the Lake District, surrounded by fells and lakes.

Excellent location, fabulous hotel, exceptional staff but food did let it down. Breakfast, which was included in our deal was really good. We chose to eat in the hotel one night and we were disappointed. Food was very average and not as good as we expected.

Situated in the heart of the village of Bowness-on-Windermere, this adult only guesthouse overlooks Lake Windermere. The ferry terminal and the marina are 3 minutes' walk away.

The amount of space was great having a separate living room to the bedroom. Parking was about a 10 minute walk away - if that. And the parking price was discounted from the owner's permit. The location couldn't have been any more central. Also lovely views of the lake from the bedroom. The owners also lent us a brolly which was really kind. Proper milk in the fridge made a difference to us.

Absolutely stunning secluded location with a gorgeous view of lake Windermere, lovely walks very close by, beautiful interior to the cottage and the friendliest, most welcoming owners ever. Delicious cooked breakfast with lots of choice on cold options too. Had a really lovely stay with my boyfriend, thank you so much Liz and Chris!

The hotel staff were brilliant. A lovely designed doggy friendly hotel. The bar and restaurant served amazing food and drinks and felt very at home with our dog able to sit with us too. The breakfast choice was also really good! Nice that it wasn't a buffet either. The location is great, a short walk into Ambleside town centre and lots of walks just a few steps away to go on as well!

Super Cosy Room in a gorgeous stylish yet quirky Townhouse, location Perfect, extremely close to everything. Parking Permit is a brilliant perk of the Booking, especially as we could use it at so many other car parks around The Lakes. Totally Dog Friendly down to providing towels to dry off your muddy pup after, in our case, a few soggy walks. We would highly recommend this lovely Townhouse - will happily return ourselves, loved every minute.

The interior design is beautiful and the garden terrace is lovely. We loved the room in the new pavillon, absolutely beautiful and comfortable! 10 out 10. The receptionists are welcoming, convenient and very friendly. The location is perfect near the river, the lake and Ambleside city center.
