Originally a 16th-century coaching inn, The Crown in Old Amersham offers dining, traditional hospitality and easy access to the M40, M25, M1 and M4. Free parking and Wi-Fi is available on-site.

Beautiful old property. Great location and had a gorgeous cobbled court yard to enjoy a drink in the sunshine. Bedroom was split level with bathroom upstairs. Stand alone bath and big walk in shower. Bed was comfortable and the hotel had loads of original features, warped walls and beams. It was an enjoyable stay.

Such a cute little hideaway which was bigger than it looks on the photos and set in stunning garden/grounds. Very well done up inside, clean and cosy. The bed was so comfortable! Breakfast options were a lovely touch with nice coffee also. The hosts communicated really quickly and we had a warm personalised welcome on arrival. We were so happy and could have easily stayed another few nights. Highly recommend!

We stayed 1 night to visit a relative for Halton graduation. Beautifully designed rooms & bar area. Staff were friendly and attentive, we had a warm welcome from the start. The atmosphere is cosy and charming, lots of interesting decor and artwork. We had the best chips ever in the evening and a lovely breakfast in the morning. The selection of tea/coffee etc. in the room was lovely. Just wished we had managed to nab a room with a free standing bath!

The rooms are modern and well designed even though this is quite a historic hotel and every room I've stayed in has been very clean and comfortable, staff are always friendly and check-in was quick. Full English breakfast was lovely in the morning and included in the price, will definitely be staying again, great value for money, thanks again for a wonderful stay at the bell hotel

The bedroom and en suite shower room were superb. Very good bedroom facilities to a boutique hotel standard. High quality coffee and teas in the bedroom. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was quiet and had air conditioning which was a bonus. The location was perfect in market Square. We had a lovely stay.

The room was very nicely decorated with a clean and modern bathroom. It was a smaller but well appointed space, designed well. The bed was comfortable and there were a few nice touches like having an iron and ironing board and biscuits on the tea tray, there was a good size full length mirror. The staff were all very pleasant and eager to help, We were allowed into our room early which really helped us, and the staff at breakfast were lovely too.
