A grand 18th-century Georgian Manor House, Oakley Hall is an Award Winning Hotel set in a 315 acre estate in the beautiful Hampshire countryside, conveniently located 10 minutes from the M3.

The room was incredibly clean, the travel cot had been set and baby toiletries were provided with a rubber duck which was an added bonus and my toddler loved.

Featuring a swimming pool, a sauna and a fitness centre, the voco Reading is conveniently located right next to The Reading FC Conference Centre and adjacent to the Select Car Leasing Stadium.

We stayed in a suite which, was very spacious and comfortable for a family of 3. All toiletries were provided in large bottles, so we didn’t run out. Staff were friendly and there was lots of choice for breakfast. Would recommend adding Breakfast to the room rate, as this was only £35 more for 2 days. To pay for this as the hotel would have been £18 each per day. Would recommend staying here if attending an event at the Reading stadium. However we were the only ‘away’ visitors. Regardless everyone was still friendly.

The atmosphere was really calm and pleasant. The location was brilliant, only a couple minute walk from the town centre. No noise disturbances. The pool table was free to use, just hand over your room card and they give the cues and return once finished.

Great room, compact but well designed meaning plenty of room to move around. The bathroom was also compact but again, very well-designed, and spotless. The bed was huge and comfortable, with a nice desk area, and a huge TV orientated so you could lie in bed and enjoy. Great facilities throughout the hotel including free wifi (which was fast), and a nice pub/grill with a well-priced menu for a hotel. And plenty of parking and a super easy self-check-in process leaving the staff available to help out elsewhere.
