Boasting a marina setting, the Ship and Trades is located in Chatham, 1.9 miles from Gillingham Train Station and offers free parking.

the staff were helpful and friendly. I wasn't happy with the twin room we were allotted and was upgraded to room 15. The room was very comfortable with a lovely view of the marina and St Mary's Island, it added so much to a pleasurable stay. The food was to our taste so we ended up eating in the restaurant every evening. A great location for walking to the Historic Dockyard, which was the main purpose of our trip.

The hotel is a budget hotel and was what we expected. The room as a very comfy double room. The bed was lovely and gave us a good night sleep. The hotel location was excellent for our purpose. We even had parking for our car. The onsite restaurant was amazing and they catered for our allergies fantastic.
