Lovely Inn, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We ate dinner here as well as breakfast and both were excellent. Friendly staff too. Highly recommend.

A real treat!
This is a charming and delightful former country train station, 2 miles outside Petworth Village and close to Petworth House.
Our accommodation was in the restored classic Pullman train carriages, each converted into 2 en-suite bedrooms. The carriages stand along the platform next to the station building, where a satisfying breakfast is served ion the old waiting room! The carriages themselves are fitted out with a good sized double bed. Most of the original paneling and decor has been retained and the room is decorated with period artifacts which give authentic character to the whole experience.

The bed was comfortable, the shower was the best of the five hotels we stayed in. The location was quiet.

Lovely country pub. Lovely and really friendly staff. Lovely breakfast included in the room rate. Close to our destination. Would definitely stay again.
These hotels offer something unique in terms of design and are usually set in a trendy, urban part of town. Blending high standards with a homey vibe, boutique hotels are more intimate than your average hotel.
We had an evening meal here,my dietary needs are complex and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my needs without complaint and my meal was absolutely lovely
Location was great, and the pub itself was absolutely gorgeous. We were able to bring our dog with us which was great. We were also lucky enough to have a lovely large bathroom with a bath.
It was such a lovely place to stay and Pep was very accommodating. We saw her two gorgeous horses, foxes and a fawn/deer all in one day in the field. The barn was super cozy and in a gorgeous location with some great places to eat. Would highly recommend a stay here.
The room and bathroom were eccentrically lovely with ancient oak beams, a lovely roll top bath to soak in. The staff were very helpful and attentive, the price was budget but the service was better than 5 star. Any criticisms I make are trivial in comparison to the overall high quality experience I had of welcome, food service and room quality.
Well designed, fantastic open plan modern kitchen, lounge diner.
