An impressive building with an outdoor pool open all year round, Hotel du Vin Exeter boasts free WiFi, a bar and 24-hour front desk.

Room was clean and comfortable and the bed was really comfortable. The staff at reception when I arrived were really friendly and helpful and it was great to have a dedicated parking space.

Located in the centre of Topsham, just 4 miles from Exeter, The Globe is a beautifully renovated 16th-century coaching inn.

The room was beautiful. It was spacious, very comfortable and there were lots of nice touches. The only downside was the amount of noise from the beer garden, as our room was in the annex which faced into the courtyard. Staying in a pub, we expected some noise but didn't expect so much on a weeknight. Take ear-plugs. The food in the pub was nice. Good selection of ales and wine and the staff were without exception very friendly. Breakfast service was slow and the continental buffet was hidden away in a separate room, which the waitress didn't tell us about so that was a bit odd. However, the selection was good and we enjoyed it. Topsham is an absolutely gorgeous location and we would stay there again in a heartbeat. The views across the estuary are stunning, there are plenty of pubs, cafes and restaurants and a lovely selection of independent shops.

This intimate hotel is set in a Grade II listed Georgian gentleman's residence in central Exeter.

The Room was amazing. Definitely had the wow factor!! A huge comfortable bed. The curtains need to be sorted as had come iff hooks in places. Room was very clean apart from the shower trap.. The staff were all very polite and very very helpful.. Breakfast was delicious especially the fresh orange juice and the selection of greek yougart, fruit compote, granola, honey and nuts that arrived pre cooked breakfast...

Mercure Exeter Southgate Hotel is located in central Exeter, with views over the historic old cathedral. It offers a health and fitness centre with an indoor swimming pool and a gym.

Hotel is lovely and the location of the hotel is excellent. Have stayed here many times in the past. Staff are always polite and the rooms always clean. Major disappointment was the £10 charge that has been introduced for guests to use the pool area. Other hotels I have stayed in around the country that have a pool do not charge guests to use the facilities.

In 5 acres of landscaped gardens, this hotel has magnificent views over Sidmouth and the coastline. It offers award-winning food, free parking, and has a lift that accesses every floor.

Wonderful hotel with amazing staff who really take pride in their work and make you feel comfortable. We stayed for one night and had a lovely clean room with a balcony overlooking the sea front. The spa was lovely and very clean with chilled drinking water supplied. The seafront and gardens are just a short walk from the hotel. We did not dine at the hotel or indulge in breakfast.

Located within the Dartmoor National Park, The Three Crowns is a 13th Century coaching inn with 5-star accommodation.

Lovely venue in a beautiful location, our super-clean room was carefully furnished with modern decorations and ensuite bathroom. The bed was comfortable and spacious with high quality pillows, duvet and linen. The food and service in the pub/restaurant was absolutely outstanding, and we quickly realised why this gem is so sought-after. The hotel also has accessible parking and is perfectly situated within the village to allow a quiet stroll around. Highly recommended!

Incredible luxury cabin with a clever interior layout, beautiful styling (and lighting design) and a thousand thoughtful touches to make the stay a joy. The location is magical, with the four glass doors opening onto a deck positioned perfectly at the top of hill overlooking a panoramic view of the local Devon countryside (and stunning sunsets). Also so much wildlife! During our relatively short 2 night stay we watched birds of prey, bats (above the cabin at dusk) and deer. An absolute gem of a place. Thank you again James & Anna!

Hotel Indigo is in a great location it is very well managed and the staff were very efficient and lovely mannered. The room and facilities were spotless and bed was very comfortable the interior design was very well thought out with lovely themes throughout the hotel taking into account the history of the building which I loved.. I liked that the hot breakfast was cooked to order. Check in was really good the reception team were very professional which set the tone for the rest of the stay. Well done Team Indigo Exeter.
