Beautiful old thatched roof inn in the middle of a housing estate - very unexpected.
Spacious room with a very comfy bed. Staff were very helpful and helped us carry our suitcases up and down two flights of stairs.
The pub is very popular with the locals and there was a hens party during our stay so it can get noisy. We expected a bit of noise staying above a pub and didn't mind it.
Breakfast was very good - full English, continental, juices, coffee/tea. We also had dinner there and thoroughly enjoyed our meals.
Very close to Honiton town centre.
These hotels offer something unique in terms of design and are usually set in a trendy, urban part of town. Blending high standards with a homey vibe, boutique hotels are more intimate than your average hotel.
Incredible luxury cabin with a clever interior layout, beautiful styling (and lighting design) and a thousand thoughtful touches to make the stay a joy. The location is magical, with the four glass doors opening onto a deck positioned perfectly at the top of hill overlooking a panoramic view of the local Devon countryside (and stunning sunsets). Also so much wildlife! During our relatively short 2 night stay we watched birds of prey, bats (above the cabin at dusk) and deer. An absolute gem of a place. Thank you again James & Anna!
Hotel Indigo is in a great location it is very well managed and the staff were very efficient and lovely mannered. The room and facilities were spotless and bed was very comfortable the interior design was very well thought out with lovely themes throughout the hotel taking into account the history of the building which I loved.. I liked that the hot breakfast was cooked to order. Check in was really good the reception team were very professional which set the tone for the rest of the stay. Well done Team Indigo Exeter.
