It is sat above the town and has beautiful views over the estuary and out to sea. Very well equipped, whilst clearly designed and managed wiht the family market in mind (and their dogs), it is also a great place for a weekend break for adults. The views over the Fowey estuary are glorious, and it can be fascinating to see there is always a boat on the move, or to notice how the view of Polruan and the coastline varies with the tide and the light conditions. The restaurant, lounge and hotel room, all nicely done, were completely special as they look out on all that.
