The Inn was calm and comfortable with excellent surroundings and good food. I would certainly revisit and heartily recommend.
These hotels offer something a little different in the way of design and usually sit in a trendy, urban part of town. More intimate than your average hotel, they offer high standards with a homely vibe.
Beautiful boutique hotel in a superb location, easy flat walk to the gorgeous village and all it holds. We had the cottage for our family of 5 and it was perfect, clean, comfy and spacious. We loved it and wished we could have stayed longer!
Victorian House is the perfect home base for a stay in Grasmere, it is nestled on a quiet corner steps from the main shops and restaurants of the town, with the most spectacular view. Beautifully designed and kept, each room has an air of luxury in the most cozy comfortable way. Beyond the location and design the staff are amoung the most caring and hospitable I have ever experienced, taking genuine care in each aspect of the experience. Also an excellent breakfast! We can’t wait to return to this special place.
Stunning building and beautiful furnishings and decor. Cozy sitting room and bedroom and bathroom were lovely. Shower was so easy to use. Really helpful that there was parking at the property. The views from our bedroom were gorgeous.
Everything! Perfect location with parking which is a big win in busy Grasmere. Lovely dining area, warm and stylish. Gorgeous big room, lovely decor and stylish bathroom. Kitchen area and balcony were lovely too.
Gorgeous period property with spaces well thought out and used well. Beautifully decorated with a classy mix of antique furniture. Lovely garden room for breakfast and the addition of a boot room was really helpful .
The hotel was lovely. The interior design was really beautiful and had a cozy feel to it all.
