An excellent breakfast, with good choice available. For me, the absolute highlight was sitting on the Abbot's chair, a fabulously carved item that dated from 1672. I volunteer at our local National Trust property, and showed the photos I had taken of this item to the lady in charge of collections. She couldn't believe that the Abbot's chair was able to be sat on, and in general use!
