The accommodation was smart and of a modern design with a lot of inbuilt facilities which were useful. The towels and bedding were lovely, clean and soft and the accommodation had ample space to relax with a garden area. A thoughtful welcome pack was much appreciated. We booked an evening meal - the service was really good and the food delicious. Breakfast was table service and there was a good choice of food on the menu. Full English was delicious. The American friends we travelled with loved staying at the pub and also felt the rooms were really well appointed. Food was stunning as was the service especially Luke who met us when we checked in and served us all evening. Nothing was too much trouble. Lottie made a mean proper cappuccino which is really important to me as I hate sub standard coffee.
