Location was great. Breakfast/food not so good. Overpriced & to fancy. I asked if it was just a gourmet menu & they said yes. So didn't wat at the hotel.

Location was wonderful! Rooms were clean and being able to have breakfast on-site was a plus!
These hotels offer something unique in terms of design and are usually set in a trendy, urban part of town. Blending high standards with a homey vibe, boutique hotels are more intimate than your average hotel.
A luxurious one person room for a very affordable price, the bed was very comfortable, and the room was full of little luxury touches like a filter coffee machine and a phone charging clock! Loads of free parking, great staff very helpful and friendly and a lovely location. The room and bathroom were clean and well finished, with a lush feel to them both. I would definitely recommend staying here!
Lovely farmhouse stay, very welcoming, they went above and beyond, nothing was too much trouble. Huge room, extremely comfortable bed, gorgeous breakfast.
Lovely staff, David was fabulous. The food was great only complaint large portions 😁 room was better than expected as we had booked a budget room, it was clean plenty of coffee etc. For the price it was great. Loved the Christmas decorations it is a lovely old building 1800s with a great atmosphere.
Hosts we're welcoming and informative about the local area. Facilities were lovely and the period features were divine! We stayed in the suite with the most amazing bathroom - a complete joy. Breakfast was made at a time to suit us and was delicious. And, great choice of tea - Yorkshire Tea!
Would definitely book a return visit.
Note: The map grid reference link from Booking.com took us to 132 Wellsway, which was down the road. Much better to search by postcode, the B&B sign is easy to see.
Maria was absolutely lovely and a perfect host. Very welcoming but also let us get on with our jobs. The grounds are beautiful and the property is gorgeous with plenty of character. Quiet, great location and comfy beds with big rooms. I will certainly be returning soon!
