In a stress-free setting beside the pretty River Wyre, Shard Riverside has great food and a traditional bar. Shard Riverside is a family-run, 4-star hotel on the Fylde Coast.

This was the first time that I stayed at the hotel: having been to a number of lunch/afternoon drinks events over the past few years. The room was a good size, had everything that I needed and was comfortable. The staff of the hotel is very good and in the restaurant area, the ratio of staff to guests means that service levels are always excellent.

Kitchen compact and well designed with everything we needed. Big shower room with large shower space. Spotless clean throughout. Nice view to courtyard out front. Very spacious for groups. Lounge and living room have a lovely design that feel very comfortable to stay in and relax in family groups. Great location for the city centre to walk in and around a 20 minute walk to Williamson park. Plenty of space for parking cars if staying in groups as they have a small car park area by the 2 lodges.

The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The individual temperature controlled rooms were a great luxury. The interior design of the upstairs was a pleasure to look at each day. Sitting in the hot tub in the evening with bats flying around and rabbits quietly grazing was wonderfully peaceful, as was the lovely bench by the river. Rhubarb the cat was an added bonus and made us feel very welcome with their companionship. This property is of a very high standard and we have a wonderful stay.

Location is in a perfect place just few minutes for city center, with plenty of restaurants and pubs around. The view is just in Dalton Square a touristic place, not too noise, with big window, and bedroom in the back far from eventully noise. Close to bus station and mall, it is perfect for short as weel long stay. Everything has been repair and adapted and seems likes a designer had his signature on interior furniture and arrangements. Fridge, Washing machine, Coffee maker and modern kitchen fiitted propper.
