Boasting views over Derbyshire and Bolsover Castle, here you can escape the hustle and bustle of city life and benefit from the peace and tranquillity of a rural yet accessible location.

The staff were phenomenal, very attentive and friendly and always greeted us with a smile. The food was heavenly and really well priced, so will definitely return again. The room was spacious and comfy, and wasn't expecting the balcony on the suite.

Stunning property with unique interior design. I loved the way the garden had been left wild at edges to support the wildlife. As an environmentalist this was the best part - a beautiful garden full of big trees :)

The breakfast was delicious with perfect poached eggs. The house is lovely and quirky and the style and design is very in keeping with the period of the house. We had everything we required and were well looked after by our host Nick. It was just a short walk to the town centre for our visit to the theatre.

We very much liked the tasteful interior design of the b&b, the most comfortable pillows of the holiday, the friendly staff (and dogs of course), and the delicious breakfasts.

This is a stunning boutique hotel that's had love, time, effort and what must be a lot of money spent making it just right for the customer, that can appreciate somthing a little different. Just a short 5 minute walk (but very peaceful and quiet) from the town centre and not the 8 miles that booking.com states.
