Set in Moffat, 33 km from Dumfries and County Golf Club, Annandale Arms Hotel offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant.

New owners have done a great job with renovations. A few little tweeks needed. Breakfast was nice, however there was only one person doing everything ( including reception ). Mirrors in room not well placed for hair etc and only 1 chair in room.

Amazing customer service - Dave the owner makes a point to speak with every guest at each meal time, on arrival and departure. Really tasty food that is good value, comfortable room, a drying room and a map room for walkers and riders. Facilities for bikers are way beyond “biker friendly” - this is biker heaven. Truly a hotel designed by bikers for bikers, but others will also find it a great stay.

The history & character of the Hotel is fascinating - the Smith family who own & run the Buccleuch offer so much more than any other Hotel I have ever stayed in (I’ve stayed in dozens for my work). The newly refurbished rooms have been professionally designed & are stylish, practical & eco sustainable with high quality ‘spec’. Excellent quality & presentation of food at breakfast &
